The Kabuchai Special Primary School for the Deaf is located close to the town of Bungoma in western Kenya.
During the visit of three trustees in November 2025 the dormitory was dedicated and opened by the secretary of the trust, Patricia Owen. The domitory will provide accommodation to 60 girls and has washing and toilet facilities. The dormitory is in memory of Patricia’s sister, Christine Bryant, who was a founding member of the trust and served as the treasurer for over 25 years. Christine sadly passed away in January 2025.
The Christmas Carol Service collection at The Regent Hall of The Salvation Army supported the purchase of bunk beds and mattresses for the 60 girls being accommodated in this dormitory. Thank you to all who donated to this appeal.
